The regional cuisine at the restaurant was a delightful surprise. Each dish was a harmonious symphony of flavors, expertly prepared and presented. The wine list was extensive and offered a perfect pairing for every dish. It was like being in a Michelin-starred restaurant without the hefty price tag.
One heater not working.

The decor of the hotel had a charming vintage touch, with beautiful floral patterns and comfortable seating areas. It felt cozy and inviting, perfect for senior people like myself to relax and unwind. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around. I especially appreciated the ramp at the entrance, which made it accessible for those with mobility concerns.
I would have loved to see more assistance from the children working there, especially for senior guests who may need a bit of extra support during their vacation.

The evening meal blew my mind with its excellent value and superbly cooked dishes. The Pate du Lapin and Pave de Boeuf were amazing, and the Creme Brulee was an absolute delight. The restaurant, popular with locals, offered an excellent meal, while the relaxed breakfast provided a great choice. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, with a pleasing bathroom and large shower. The friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable, and the convenience of early check-in and late check-out was a bonus. The hotel's location was perfect, and the food at the restaurant was jaw-droppingly good, even though it wasn't great for my weight. Plus, the free Wi-Fi, off-site car park, bar/lounge area, restaurant.

We had an amazing romantic getaway! the food at the restaurant was absolutely mouthwatering. We opted for the €19 selection, and boy, did it exceed our expectations! the Pate du Lapin was deliciously savory, and the Pave de Boeuf was cooked to perfection. And let's not forget the Creme Brûlée - it was thick, creamy, and had just the right amount of crunchy caramelized topping. Yum!
We did experience a couple of downsides during our stay. the noise from revellers in the street on Friday and Saturday nights was quite disruptive.

The rooms at Auberge du Cheval Blanc are so cozy and comfortable! I loved the individual decor and the fact that each room has its own private bathroom. It really made me feel at home during my stay.
Personally, I didn't care much for the satellite TV in the room. But hey, I know some people enjoy having that option!
